10 / 25 Year Major Crane Inspection – Put This Section First, On Top Of 12-Month Annual Crane Inspection

In compliance with Australian Standards & OHS Regulations, all cranes are subject to a major inspection upon approaching the crane’s nominal design life. This is generally 10 years for mechanisms, and 25 years for the structure itself.

With our advanced crane expertise and experience, we can perform major inspection services, engineering assessments and certification issuance that meet current Australian Standards. Our in-house engineers are fully qualified, armed with crane manufacturer design experience, and competency accredited by Engineers Australia.

To help streamline the inspection and assessment processes, we recommend that the following documents are provided:

  • Latest Current Annual Crane Inspection Report
  • Load Test Report
  • Non Destructive Test Report (Electromagnetic Eddy current / Ultrasonic / Magnetic Particle)
  • Maintenance record that includes parts replacement

Design Approval and Plant Registration

We can also assist with design registration for new cranes, providing design verification, theoretical calculation checks and charts conversion tailored to Australian Standards and WorkSafe design requirements.
